Kim Kardashian has opened up about the one request she made to rapper Kanye West at the height of their feud.
In the sneak-peek of Thursday’s “The Kardashian” episode, the mother of four can be seen attending Paris Couture Fashion Week – which was held in July – with her daughter North. The 9-year-old wore a colorful jacket, which was similar to what West wore a few years back in Paris.
The 42-year-old reality star explained that she purchased the jacket online because the rapper often gives away his things. “Kanye tends to not care about his stuff and gives it all away,” she said. “Now Kanye knows that I’m so protective of his stuff for the kids.”
Kardashian recalled that when they were at the “height of not speaking,” hinting at their divorce, she requested West to keep his Grammys so she can “add them to the vault.” She felt it was important for their kids – North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
“Even now when he was at the height of not speaking to me and being angry with me, he won a few Grammys and I still reached out, and was like, ‘I know you just won a few Grammys. I gotta add them to the vault.’ And he goes, ‘OK,’ because the kids want them and I want them all together,” she said. “So, I have them all together.”
The 45-year-old rapper had previously apologized to Kardashian for causing her “stress.” The apology came in September when West appeared on the talk show “Good Morning America.”
“This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration because God calls me to be stronger,” he said at the time. “But also, ain’t nobody else needs to be causing no stress either.”
Kardashian filed for divorce in February last year. The reality star went on to date comedian Pete Davidson after meeting him on the sets of “Saturday Night Live” in October the same year. They broke up after dating for nine months. Whereas, West was romantically linked with Julia Fox for just two months.
