Hallmark Channel’s merry holiday season continues with the newest “Countdown to Christmas” holiday premiere, “Jolly Good Christmas.” The film, starring Will Kemp and Reshma Shetty, premieres Saturday night.
The film will be a treat for fans as it will be a reintroduction to Kemp, who has starred in a few Hallmark titles before, including “The Christmas Waltz,” “Love, Romance & Chocolate” and “Royal Matchmaker.” He also might be recognizable from his role in the Netflix film “The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star.”
However, the film will also be a treat because it marks Shetty’s first time on the network. Prior to this film, she starred in a fair share of television series, with her best-known role being Divya Katarde on “Royal Pains.”

“David (Kemp) is an American architect who recently moved to London for a prime opportunity in a prestigious firm,” a synopsis reads. “With just three days before Christmas, he has yet to purchase a gift for his girlfriend, who also happens to be the boss’ daughter. While out shopping, David crosses paths with Anji (Shetty), a professional shopper, who raises an eyebrow over his choice of a gift card.”
The meeting seems to stick with David because when he then runs into Anji again, he decides to hire her in an attempt to find a more suitable gift. Of course, what neither expects is for the experience to have a more profound impact on their lives.
“Thanks to a series of unexpected events, David finds himself on a wild adventure across Jolly Old London as Anji helps him search for the perfect present,” the synopsis concludes.
“Jolly Good Christmas” airs Saturday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
