Cardi B and Madonna reconciled shortly after their short beef on social media.
The “WAP” singer wasn’t pleased when Madonna mentioned her in a post on Saturday, insinuating that her 1992 erotica book “S.E.X” paved the way for female artists in their creative expressions about their sexuality. But she updated her fans that they had already spoken and things were good.
“I talked to Madonna …It was beautiful ….Have a great day and drive safely y’allll,” Cardi tweeted Sunday.
The “Like A Virgin” hitmaker co-signed the tweet by sending her love to the “Bodak Yellow” rapper on Twitter.
“I love you @iamcardib !! [red heart emoji] Always have and always will,” Madonna tweeted.
Cardi quote tweeted Madonna’s post and added, “Love you,” with a red heart emoji.

The brief beef between the pair started when the “Tomorrow 2” artist didn’t take Madonna’s post that mentioned her name well. In the post, Madonna seemingly complained about how she got badly treated for being open about her sexuality and sexual fantasies compared to other younger artists.
“30 years ago, I published a book called ‘S.E.X.’ in addition to photos of me naked there were photos of Men kissing Men, Woman kissing Woman and Me kissing everyone. I also wrote about my sexual fantasies and shared my point of view about my sexuality in an ironic way,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories obtained by Page Six.
“I spent the next few years being interviewed by narrow-minded people who tried to shame me for empowering myself as a Woman. I was called a whore, a witch, a heretic and the devil. Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked a– and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball.”
She concluded her post by writing, “You’re welcome bit–es,” with a clown emoji, which was what Cardi found offensive.
“I literally payed [sic] this woman homage so many times cause I grew up listening to her …she can make her point without putting clown emojis and getting slick out the mouth,” the 30-year-old rapper wrote in a since-deleted tweet on Sunday.
“These icons really become disappointments once u make it in the industry that’s why I keep to myself,” she added.
Both artists’ recent posts on social media clarified there was no bad blood between them.
