Georgia Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff teased former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who also represented the state, over recent remarks of hers where she again slammed President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.

Speaking during a campaign rally, Ossoff took aim the the Trump administration, saying it is “the most corrupt of all time and everybody knows it.”

Ossoff: This is the most corrupt administration of all time and everybody knows it. Listen to what Marjorie Taylor Greene just said about MAGA last week. She said, “I think people are realizing it was all a lie.” Welcome to the resistance. pic.twitter.com/bgD3gFeCuH

“Listen to what Marjorie Taylor Greene said about MAGA last week. She said, ‘I think people are realizing it was all a lie,'” Ossoff said, noting the remark came from someone who once was one of Trump’s biggest allies.

“All true, spot on. Marjorie, welcome to the resistance. It’s a big tent,” Ossoff added, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Greene made the remarks in question earlier this month while speaking with political commentator Kim Iversen on YouTube. There, she said she believes MAGA was a “big lie for the people.”

Greene went on to claim that Trump has turned on his base and serves “big donors” who send money to his PACs and are financing the new White House ballroom.

“Those are the people that get the special favors, the government contracts, they get the pardons,” she noted. “And it’s the foreign countries that are running the show here. It’s the major big corporations and what is best for the world. That’s really what MAGA is.”

Greene has repeatedly criticized Trump since falling out with him over the handling of the Epstein files. She has also slammed the way administration officials have dealt with the killing of Alex Pretti and defended the fact that he was carrying a firearm, saying MAGA would have reacted differently if Democrats made such an argument.
