The Tanjong Pagar building features smart building management systems and renewable energy use
ASSET manager Keppel’s new commercial property has completed construction, and a financial services company has been secured as its anchor tenant, said the company in a press release on Monday (Feb 10).
About 50 per cent of the commercial property’s office and retail units are either already leased or being considered by potential tenants.
Known as Keppel South Central, the 33-storey commercial property, which is located in Tanjong Pagar, has about 650,000 square feet of space.
Louis Lim, chief executive officer for Keppel’s real estate arm, said that the building has garnered strong interest from prospective tenants including major multinational corporations in the technology, finance and professional services sectors.
Tenants are expected to move in progressively from June.
The building features facade systems that minimise solar heat gain, smart building management systems and renewable energy, said Keppel in its release.
The company is working with artificial intelligence (AI) solution providers to explore implementing features that will enable the commercial tower to become AI-ready in the future.
The property has been awarded a Green Mark certification by the Building and Construction Authority for its low energy use.
