Kris Jenner is “so heartbroken” after learning about the sudden passing of Tristan Thompson’s mom, Andrea Thompson.
The 67-year-old momager took to Instagram Friday to share a series of photos featuring Andrea. In one snap, Jenner and her daughter Khloe Kardashian pose for the camera with Tristan and his mom. There’s also a photo of Jenner and Andrea smiling side-by-side while sporting matching pink dresses.
“I am so heartbroken by the sudden passing of Tristan’s mom, Andrea. My thoughts, prayers and all of my love are with Tristan, Amari, Dishawn and Daniel. You were the most amazing, dedicated, devoted and selfless mom and such a loving, kind and fabulous grandmother,” the TV personality wrote.
Jenner continued, “What a blessing you were to your family. I will miss you, Andrea. I will miss your bright spirit and amazing light. Thank you for always praying for us and lifting us up and encouraging us along the way. Rest in peace beautiful angel.”
The reality star’s friends and fans reacted to her post, with many of them extending their condolences.
Rita Wilson wrote, “Condolences to the family. So very sad.”
Kathy Hilton and Jonathan Cheban left praying hands and red heart emojis.
“Terrible news, prayers for the families,” one fan commented.
“True is her Grandma’s mini-me. Very said. Rest well in the arms of Our God,” another added.
Jenner’s post came a day after her daughter Khloe, 38, reunited with Thompson, 31, to support her ex-boyfriend amid the difficult time.
The exes touched down in Toronto, Canada, on Thursday moments after several news outlets reported that the basketball player’s mom got rushed to a local hospital after suffering a heart attack at home.
In exclusive photos released by TMZ, Kardashian and Thompson were seen exiting a private jet and heading to a vehicle that would take them to the hospital. An update after their sighting announced Andrea’s passing.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum and the professional athlete share two kids — 4-year-old daughter True and a newborn son whose name has not been disclosed to the public yet.
