Lala Kent, who has a baby with producer Randall Emmett, wants to have a second baby but without anyone’s involvement. She has decided to take the help of a sperm donor.
Following her split from Emmett, the 32-year-old actress revealed she wants to get pregnant again but this time, through a sperm donor.
“I’m thinking around the summertime I’ll start trying to get pregnant,” she said on the “Scheananigans” podcast last week. “So, because I’m pretty good to go, I could just do the insemination process.”
Kent is not denying the possibility that a “partner could come into [her] life” but she doesn’t want to make any changes to her plans of having a second baby.
“There’s such a high chance of it not working out, especially where we live,” she said about living in Los Angeles. “I’m not taking the chance. Like, I am so scarred from all of this s–t that has happened in my life.”
She added, “I’m doing a sperm donor. Period. I will not even attempt to try and do it a different way. I don’t want another person involved. Sperm donor. That’s what doing. End of discussion. It’s just a matter of when I decide to do that.”
Kent shares a 1-year-old daughter, Ocean, with Emmett. Earlier this month, she revealed how she had to rush to the hospital for her daughter because she was “gasping for air.”
Kent and Emmett first met in 2015 and confirmed their relationship in 2017. They got engaged in September 2018 in Mexico and announced their wedding date in 2019.
However, they had to postpone the wedding in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While there were rumors of their split in July 2020, the actress denied them at the time.
After two months, the actress revealed she was expecting their first baby, whom they welcomed in March last year. Seven months later, Kent and Emmett broke their engagement.
On the work front, Kent has been a regular on the TV series “Vanderpump Rules” since 2015. Last year, she was featured in movies like “American Traitor: The Trial of Axis Sally” and “Out of Death.”
