MAYBANK Singapore on Tuesday (Jul 30) said that it appointed Alice Tan as its head of group wealth management. She takes on the role on Aug 1.
She will continue in her current role as the head of wealth management in Singapore, and report to both the group chief executive officer of community financial services and the CEO of Maybank Singapore.
In her new role, she will lead the group’s wealth-management business, covering segments such as privilege wealth, premier wealth, private wealth and Islamic wealth.
Tan will also be responsible for integrating Maybank Singapore’s regional strategy.
She began her career in Maybank in 2014, and was among the pioneers of the company’s private wealth-management business; she then went on to become the head of private wealth in Singapore.
In her current role as head of wealth management in Singapore, she manages three wealth segments which posted a total revenue of S$176 million and year-on-year growth of 64 per cent, within six months of taking on the role.
