KEY POINTS
- Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38
- Reigns has been the Universal Champion for nearly 600 days
- Paul Heyman betrayed Lesnar recently and joined hands with Reigns
- Paul Heyman has heaped praises on Roman Reigns, who is the current WWE and Universal Champion, adding that their team has “only just begun.”
Heyman was previously Brock Lesnar’s advocate. However, Heyman recently betrayed the Beast Incarnate and joined hands with Reigns. The betrayal had cost Lesnar his World Championship before reclaiming the title once again at the Elimination Chamber in Jeddah earlier this year.
At WrestleMania 38, Reigns and Lesnar came face to face for the ‘Title vs Title’ fight. The match saw Heyman interfere plenty of times, Reigns suffer legit injuries, and an impressive spear-into-a-kimura spot ended with an emphatic spear as Reigns scored the pinfall over his arch-rival. Reigns ended the ‘Show of the Shows’ as the undisputed WWE and Universal Champion.
Of all @WWE.
Over the entire Universe.

Heyman took to social media Thursday to share an image of him and Reigns celebrating with both the WWE and Universal Championships after the showdown fight at AT&T Stadium, Texas. In the caption, Heyman talked about how Roman had achieved his goals, but will quickly move on to new ones, claiming that they’d only just begun.
“I humbly submit that as this frame was captured, the mindset became, ‘every dream we had when we embarked on this journey together has been realized. Now, the truly exciting part, new dreams, new pursuits, new realizations of those visions.’ You’ve only seen us get started. Our ambitions cannot be contained!” Heyman wrote.

Meanwhile, the WWE Company has “big plans” for Reigns to cross over to Hollywood, just like his cousin The Rock, WWE president Nick Khan revealed.
Reigns, who has been the Universal Champion for nearly 600 days now, has already featured in a few films, including the one with the latter — “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.”
