Asian cuisine restaurant P.F. Chang’s announced Monday that it will be adding a subscription service to its rewards program. The chain’s platinum rewards will give members access to exclusive perks.
The new service, which will cost $6.99 a month, will offer customers 15 points for every $1 they spend and will give them access to unlimited free delivery, a free birthday dessert, priority reservations, VIP concierge support and access to an exclusive insiders’ panel.
“The new subscription-based program is a continuation of our goal to create differentiated experiences for P.F. Chang’s customers, and we believe P.F. Chang’s Platinum Rewards does that at the highest level,” Damola Adamolekun, P.F. Chang’s chief executive officer, said in a press release.
“As the first polished-casual restaurant chain to launch this kind of loyalty program, we are proud to drive innovation in the industry while adding even more value for our guests,” Adamolekun added.
The subscription service also allows members to get a $15 gift card when 2,000 points are earned.
This is in addition to the gold rewards program, which is free, where members earn 10 points for every $1 spent, as well as the $15 gift card once 2,000 points are earned. A free birthday dessert is also a perk of the rewards program.
Those who signs up for the Gold Rewards or Platinum Rewards by Oct. 31 will also be eligible for an additional benefit. According to the press release, they will be automatically entered to win a trip to one of the chain’s flagship locations in Honolulu, Las Vegas or New York City. This will come with a two-night hotel stay and a $500 dinner as well.
