In the aftermath of the recent $2 billion jackpot, Powerball players participated in a far more modest jackpot.
There were no winners in the Powerball drawing Saturday for a jackpot of an estimated $47 million. The cash option was $23 million.
The winning lottery numbers drawn for Nov. 12 were 16, 20, 44, 57, and 58. The Powerball pull was 6, and the Power Play was 4X.
Since the latest jackpot went unclaimed, Monday night’s jackpot will climb to an estimated $59 million, with a cash payout of $29.6 million.
One ticket holder in Texas matched all five numbers except for the Powerball with the Power Play worth $2 million.
Powerball gained significant attention last week. On Monday, the winning ticket for a record $2.04 billion jackpot went to a player in the Los Angeles suburb of Altadena. The ticket holder became the largest lottery-prize winner.
Saturday’s drawing was the second since the $2 billion jackpot.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in over 292 million. The drawings take place on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
