- Prince William and Prince Harry are claimed to be feuding for years
- Peter Phillips reportedly acted as a physical buffer for his royal cousins

Peter Philips, son of Princess Anne and the eldest grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth, has “acted as [a] peacemaker” for Prince William and Prince Harry, a new report claimed.
An unnamed source told The Telegraph that Peter Phillips played a major role in fixing the strained relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry. The two sons of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana were reported to have had a falling out after the Prince of Wales advised his brother not to rush marriage with Meghan Markle.
The publication claimed it is a role Peter Phillips could fulfill again. “Peter is used to acting as a bit of a buffer. He may play that role again in a bid to pull them along together,” the unidentified informant noted.
Peter Phillips reportedly acted as a physical buffer when he walked between Prince William and Prince Harry during a funeral procession for their late grandfather, Prince Philip. The businessman, who is presently in the 17th line to the throne, reportedly has close relationships with his cousins.
Most, if not all, fans are aware that Prince William and Prince Harry have been rumored to be feuding for several years now. Their spat reportedly intensified following the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, wherein Harry claimed King Charles III and William were “trapped” in the royal family.
The two princes are likely to be on “ceasefire” at the moment as they were spotted together with their wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, to greet a sea of mourners outside of Windsor Castle. The outing marked the first time the “Fab Four” appeared together in public since the Commonwealth Day service on March 9, 2020.
“We are all very grateful – both sides putting all things aside for the Queen,” an unidentified royal insider told Page Six about the walkabout. Peter Phillips also appeared outside Windsor Castle earlier in the day, together with Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence and Zara Tindall.
Buckingham Palace announced on Saturday that Queen Elizabeth’s funeral would take place on Monday, September 19. The mother of King Charles III died Thursday at age 96. The cause of death has yet to be disclosed.
