AS an avid traveller, you would have by now made your long-awaited return to Europe. You may have taken that leisurely stroll in Hyde Park, rediscovered the charms of Champs Elysees, and waded in the warm waters of Sardinia. But have you taken that perfect European cruise yet?
Leading luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises has several European itineraries for summer 2023. Each one is a 10- to 14-day journey through ancient lands, natural wonders and storybook cities and towns. The ships themselves are legendary vessels, having garnered over 120 awards from the industry since 2010.
On the popular Baltic Pleasures itinerary, you’ll be sailing from London to Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm and other cities. If you prefer warmer climes, choose A Taste Of France & Iberia, which will take you through Bordeaux, Lisbon, Barcelona and other Mediterranean cities.
The more adventurous traveller might opt for Summer In Scandinavia whose stops include lesser-known Nordic gems such as Husavik (Iceland’s whale watching capital), Alesund (a Norwegian city with beautiful architecture and landscapes) and Lysekil (Sweden’s postcard-perfect small city).
In May 2022, Regent Seven Seas Cruises celebrated its 30th year, after being voted top cruise line 6 times by the readers of Conde Nast Traveller and Travel + Leisure. It marked its pearl anniversary with a party on all its voyages, specialty cocktails, one-off dining experiences, and commemorative pins and gifts.
In 2023, Regent will mark a new milestone with the launch of the Seven Seas Grandeur, a new ship that will cruise 17 voyages in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, plus 2 Transatlantic crossings, all ranging from 7 to 16 nights in length.

If the early pictures are anything to go by, the Grandeur will certainly match Regent’s other extraordinary vessels. Its well-appointed suites, restaurants, observation lounge and other features have been designed by the award-winning Studio DADO, specialists in boutique cruising and hospitality interior design. It will host only 750 guests and have a gross tonnage of 55,500, providing among the highest space ratios and staff-to-guest ratios in the industry.
Meanwhile, guests of 2023 European summer cruises will be sailing on the Seven Seas Splendor, Voyager and Navigator ships. Splendor was awarded Gold in the category of “Best Cruise Ship – Small” at travAlliancemedia’s Travvy Awards in 2021. Voyager made the Condé Nast Traveller 2020 Gold List in the category of “The Best Cruise Ships in the World”.
If you want to experience your next European summer differently, Regent’s luxury cruise is a great option.
