Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous lead developer Shytoshi Kusama has teased the Shib Army about an update that they said the community will love.
The cryptocurrency market, over the past few days, has shown positive improvements, with some crypto assets, including Shiba Inu, showing sharp spikes in their price. Interestingly, it looks like the dog-themed altcoin Shiba Inu is just getting started if Kusama’s most recent tease is anything to go by.
“Head down working. An update coming soon and I think you will love it. #ShibaEternity #Shibarium #SHIBARMY,” the lead developer’s tweet read. While Kusama did not explicitly say in the tweet what they were working on, it was enough to send the Shib Army into a tizzy, especially since the community has long been anticipating to hear about updates on the upcoming layer-2 solution, Shibarium.
One follower predicted that the update is about the “gaming guide and shibarium documentation coming out simultaneously.” To this, Kusama responded: “Close. But we do one thing at a time. Shibarium IS COMING but one thing at a time. Please. Thanks.”
Kusama did not give any dates or timeline of when they plan to release the update, and the tweet is, like always, vague, so as not to disappoint the community. The Shiba Inu team officially rolled out the ecosystem’s first-ever collectible card game (CCG) on Oct. 6, which is playable on all iOS and Android devices across the globe.
Kusama earlier promised they would provide a comprehensive game guide for players, and it is most likely coming very soon. Perhaps, it is what they were teasing all along. The Unification, the team working with the Shiba Inu dev team on Shibarium, had previously hinted at the possibility of the layer-2 solution’s upgrade sometime in Q3 2022 or later.
Kusama could also be teasing about the release of Shibarium documentation or white paper, which they said would be launched first prior to Shibarium’s official announcement. At this point, only Kusama knows what’s coming and when.
