Gabriel Brown revealed during Sunday’s episode of “Sister Wives” that he isn’t talking to his father, Kody Brown anymore after he forgot his birthday.
In the recent episode that aired on TLC, Gabriel explained to the cameras that he didn’t remind his father about his birthday when he called him to check on his health when he had contracted COVID-19.
“I didn’t remind him that it was my birthday because I wanted to see if he remembered,” Gabriel said about the phone call with his father on Oct. 11 last year. “And he didn’t. So to him, it was just a phone call just asking me about COVID.”
During the confessional, Gabriel, 32, can be seen crying as he shared how painful that phone call was for him. “It was a lot worse than just a phone call for me,” he said.
Gabriel further shared that Kody called him back again to wish him a happy birthday and apologize. “That’s the last time I ever talked to my dad,” he said.

Kody shares Gabriel with his wife, Janelle Brown. The couple got married in 1993.
Janelle isn’t the only wife as Kody is also spiritually married to Meri and Robyn Brown since 1990. He was also married to Christine Brown, who announced in November last year that she is ending her marriage after 25 years.
This is not the first time when someone from the family was upset with Kody. Last month, Janelle accused Kody of using her money and forcing her to buy his ex-wife Christine’s old house despite her being clear about her wish to build her own separate house on the family’s Coyote Pass property.
“All Kody talked about was how much he was sad that he was losing this house that Christine had. He loved it,” Janelle said during the confessional. “He didn’t want to lose it. So, it sort of felt like he was using me and my buying power to save this house that he loves.”
