WALL Street’s main indexes opened higher on Wednesday (Dec 4), with the benchmark S&P 500 and the Nasdaq hitting all-time highs as investors focused on upcoming economic data as well as remarks from Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 235.5 points, or 0.53 per cent, at the open to 44,941.05.
The S&P 500 rose 19.5 points, or 0.32 per cent, at the open to 6,069.39, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 106.6 points, or 0.55 per cent, to 19,587.477 at the opening bell. REUTERS
