[NEW YORK] Wall Street’s main indexes opened lower on Friday (Jun 13) after Israel’s deadly strike on Iranian nuclear facilities inflamed tensions in the oil-rich Middle East and battered risk sentiment across global markets.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 388.1 points, or 0.90 per cent, at the open to 42,579.48.

The S&P 500 fell 44.7 points, or 0.74 per cent, at the open to 6,000.56, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 211.6 points, or 1.08 per cent, to 19,450.925 at the opening bell. REUTERS
