Former president Donald Trump arrived at the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse for his arraignment Tuesday and acknowledged his supporters with a wave.
The next step for him will be the booking process, which involves fingerprinting and taking a mugshot. Once registered, he will be escorted to the 15th floor to appear before the judge in the courtroom.
On his way to the courthouse, Trump took to Truth Social, his social media platform, and wrote thus: “Heading to Lower Manhattan, the Courthouse. Seems so SURREAL — WOW, they are going to ARREST ME. Can’t believe this is happening in America. MAGA!”
Trump is currently facing approximately 30 charges related to document fraud. These charges stem from allegations that he paid hush money to cover up his relationship with a porn star named Stormy Daniels.
